The hosts also offer a guided tour of the villa, showcasing its rich history. this place is a gem and perfect for a special occasion.

Great value for money, room was clean and comfortable. The location was beautiful with a nice view over the river from the bedroom. The staff treated us with a warm welcome and gave us a mini tour explaining the history of the place.

The hotel was located quite far from the town, making it difficult to access without a car. The busy road in front of the hotel was also a downside, as it caused noise disturbance at times.

The owner, Susana, was a total legend and made sure we had the best time ever. The vintage suite room they upgraded us to was next level cool and the view of the Minho River and Spain was sick! Plus, being between Caminha and Vila Nova de Cerveira meant we were right in the party zone. We would definitely go back!

If there was one thing we would have asked for to make our stay even more awesome, it would be a DJ or a live band playing some sick beats by the pool. That would have taken the party vibes to the next level and made it a truly unforgettable experience for us young party-goers.

my recent stay in Caminha was absolutely incredible. Palacete Villa Idalina exceeded all my expectations and made my long-term stay unforgettable. From the magical environment and romantic story behind the place, to the warm and welcoming hosts, everything resonated with me. The high ceiling spacious rooms with stunning views, delicious self-serve breakfast, and perfect location between Caminha and Vila Nova de Cerveira were all highlights of my stay.

The historic charm of the building was simply enchanting, like stepping into a fairytale. The owners were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast spread was delicious, with plenty of homemade treats to enjoy. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the train station and a short distance from various attractions. a truly magical experience.

The beds were a bit on the small side, which made it a bit uncomfortable for two people to sleep in. the noise from the nearby highway and train tracks could be a bit bothersome at times.
